Wild card week: Homecoming recap

Junior Cortney Toomey shows her Patriots pride Monday on sports day.

Lecanto High School turned into a wonderland during the 2011 Homecoming week, so we decided to feature the whole week and weekend in our “wild card” section.

For most students homecoming week is the one time a year they can dress up, act silly and even get a little crazy. Students showed their team spirit on Monday, dressed as the craziest characters on Tuesday, got a little bit wacky on Wednesday, took a trip to the past on Thursday then showed their Panther pride on Friday before partying it up on Saturday at the homecoming dance.
